Orchids are well known flowers that come from warmer regions such as: Southeast Asia, Latin America and even Africa.

Some countries produce beautiful orchids are:
- Southeast Asian countries include Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippine.
- African country, Madagascar.
- Latin America countries such as Colombia, Ecuador and Panama.
People love tropical orchids with many reasons among of them are:
- exotic fragrances
- vibrant colors
- and intricate shapes

There are around 800 genera of tropical orchids in the world. The popular genera in our areas are Dendrobium, Cattleya and Vanda.

Dendrobium genus is one of our favorite orchids, because it offers very attractive colors and shapes.

Orchids are beautiful. A friend gave me one for my Birthday in August and it still has the most gorgeous blooms. I sure hope I can take care of it properly.

The orchids are the ones I like to see and I have once been to a orchid farm store where there are so many species. They are the queens of flowers I always say. I wrote once also about them on one of my websites.
