Several methods (based on several resources) to prevent dogs to eat grass are:
1) If dogs bored, the owners should let dogs getting some exercises and interactive games.
2) If dog faced with nutritional deficiency, then owners might give dogs with good quality foods such a higher fiber food.
3) Be careful that many yards use toxic substances (herbicides or pesticides) to maintain green grasses. If dog owners are quite not sure whether the grass contain poison or not, just avoid it.

ReplyDeleteEvery once in awhile we would see our dog start to eat some grass. I heard it was because they had an upset stomach and it would help them throw up but not sure if that was true!

My dog would eat grass if he was eating a certain dog food, I found out. Of course, I had to get one more expensive so she wouldn't do that.

Hello,
ReplyDeleteCute dogs. I noticed when we had dogs they ate grass when they were not feeling well. we never treat our grass here, since we have well water. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Take care, have a wonderful week!
It's impossible to keep a dog from eating grass if it chooses to. Our dog was happy and healthy and once in a while would chew grass and throw up, then all was well. Every dog is different, and I'm talking about dogs that do regular veterinary visits. We never use pesticides, but sometimes had to barricade or remove grass that would irritate his throat if he chewed it. It's a constant vigil taking care of a pet.
ReplyDeleteyou are right.....agree with you
