I've never heard of teacup pigs but their name implies that they are small. Thanks for sharing.

I think a pig would be a pretty good pet. Can they be litter trained like a cat? I also like the idea of taking my pig for a walk.
ReplyDeletefor walking together yes, I saw few people walk with pig ....

Are you getting one? The ones I have been around are those you take to market. Usually, it was the runts we would nurse back to health. I really enjoyed having them around. Later, I showed hogs and I would have to walk the hogs daily since they were judged mainly for muscle and especially, the hams. But I hated to sell them. One champaign was female and we bred her hoping to sell the pigs. She only had 3 and at that time her uterus fell out so we couldn't breed her anymore. Still, we kept her around because she was practically a pet even if she wasn't indoors. Her pen was practically out the back door. But I have always enjoyed pigs and I would like to own one. Although, the lady I know who had one..her's was rather destructive so you would really have to closely train them.

Pigs are highly intelligent, even more so than dogs! But I wouldn't want one as a pet. Thanks for the informative post and God bless.
